A lot of people have recommended this movie to me but I was left underwhelmed. The plot wandered around too much and I think it was trying to do too many things at once. Also, I personally hate it when movies have music that tell you when to cry or what to feel instead of compelling people to feel sad in a subtler way. The movie isn’t really that subtle to begin with, but I still see why people would like it. Maybe this just isn’t my cup of tea.

But to its credit, the shots of the encoffinment ceremonies were so elegant. Those are worth seeing.
